DeMakers is a start-up company that produces smart wearable devices using on bone conduction technology. D’Budz of DeMakers uses 1cm-sized microminiature chip with woofer technology, and people can enjoy woofer’s vibration and sound together using just one button. Woofer is also called as a bass speaker, which is used to the speaker drive that offers grand sound with low frequency vibration.

DeMakers wanted to take a first step into the global market with D’Budz, using large crowd funding platform called ‘KickStarter.’ Our mission is to make a film that can effectively show D’Budz as a device that can use woofer technology using one on/off button, with trendy visual so that the target, young early adopter, can be interested in.

We selected ‘Krump Dance’ as a main idea to visualize woofer. ‘Krump’ is a kind of street dance that expresses something violently and freely through the body movement. We encouraged youth to get interested and fund by using trendy dance moves that draw their attention. Thus, we casted actual dancers and they successfully shows the product’s benefits to American consumers through dancing
