Serviceplan Korea won Bronze Lions at Cannes Lions 2019

 

Serviceplan Korea announced on the 26th that it has won the Bronze Lions Award in two categories along with Startup Dot at the 66th Cannes Lions, the world's leading advertising festival held in Cannes, France, from the 17th to the 21st.

More than 90 countries around the world participated in the 66th Cannes Lions, and about 30,000 advertising compaign were submitted in 29 categories.

Serviceplan Korea also won two Gold Lions and one Silver Lions in the product design category for startup Dot's Dot Mini marketing in Innovation and Health category at Cannes Lions, and the serviceplan Korean was selected as the world's fifth-largest innovation agency in the Cannes Creativity Report published in September 2018.

Serviceplan said that this year's award is very meaningful in terms of partnership with Startup Dot because it has been actively promoting a business model 'shared growth' that helps Dot successfully enter the market as a creative partner and brand incubating agency since the beginning of Dot's establishment.

Currently, Dot is launching products and services around the world, including China, the United States, France, India, the Middle East, and Africa, and establishing local marketing cooperation with Serviceplan Korea.

Serviceplan, along with Dot, won the Bronze in the design category for Dot mini and the Bronzein the Digital Craft category for the dot mini AI translation engine at the Cannes Lions 2019.

Dot Mini, which won Bronze Lions in the design category, is the first media device for the visually impaired and is an educational smart device that allows users to subscribe to text-type materials in Braille.

Dot Mini AI Translation Engine, which won Bronze Lions in the Digital Craft category, is an AI-based innovative hardware technology used in Dot Mini, which translates all digital text into Braille. 

Dot translation engine is based on numerous translation data, so it is possible to translate various forms of data into the most accurate expression.

Kang Ji-hyun, CEO of Service Plan Korea, said, "I am very happy to be awarded Bronze Lions at Cannes Lions 2019 and 2018, 2 consecutive years," adding, "I think we were able to create a good synergy effect by adding the marketing consulting capabilities and creativity of the service plan to Dot's technology.
